The rosè wine Nakone 2017 IGT is produced with selected Moscato grapes and ancient autochthonous grapes historically present in our lands. The grapes are Guyot-trained and harvested manually.
The wine takes its name from the ancient Elymian city of Nakone. Despite history telling us that the city has actually existed, its ruins were never found. According to archeological studies, the city extended along the banks of Crimiso river, near our vineyards. A mysterious city such as mysterious is the ancient grape variety used to make this wine. Nakone’s label tells a story: the four houses represent the four sisters, two trees are our parents and the soil symbolizes our grandparents.
